    Getting Out of the Station

A couple of local events involving local news anchors:

On Saturday, local tennis legend Bob Opsahl of WFTV is set to defend his title against two media challengers at the Star Island Tennis Classic in Kissimmee. The Orlando Sentinel's Scott Maxwell reports that Opsahl will take on WKMG chief meteorologist Tom Sorrells and WESH I-Team reporter Greg Fox. For information on the tournament or Saturday's matches involving the media, call 407-997-5155.

And registration is under way for Wendy Chioji's Run Around the Universe 5K run at Universal Orlando on Feb. 4. The WESH anchor, who is a running machine, has her name attached to the event, which benefits the Universal Orlando Foundation. Click here for more info.
