New news moves Buzz to later air time

WESH's decision to air local news on WKCF-CW18 from 7 to 9 a.m. each weekday has displaced The Daily Buzz.

The nationally syndicated morning show will now air on tape from 9 a.m. to noon on WKCF. The show had been airing live from 6-9 a.m. on WKCF since it moved operations to Channel 18's studios in Lake Mary in 2004.

Once WESH acquired WKCF last year, it immediately indicated its wanted to air local news in the Buzz's time slot. The big question is whether the Buzz will remain at 9-noon on WKCF or be dropped from the station all together soon.

i really would hate to see the daily buzz go. it was enjoyable to have a "light" news show so early in the morning and save the serious stuff (wesh2) for the evening. its bad enough it shows after i am at work, so looks like im gonna miss it. disapointed news buff.

That really stinks. The Daily Buzz was a fun way to start my morning... if I wanted 'standard issue' news, I have 10 other channels to choose from... BOO!!!
Bad Decision! The fact the the show is BASED in Orlando makes it even worse...

    Bring back the BUZZ!!!

Where are all of the viewers. This really really sucks. Who was the brainchld behind this move. I mean there are news junkies but no one will watch a rehash of a 5am-7am news cast. and the money you have to pay reporters to stand and watch a crime scene or the court house for a extra minute of facts. bringbackthebuzz.com

I'm very dissapointed with this change. The Daily Buzz is a great morning news show and I love catching it before I go to work. I'll never be able to see it in its new time slot and I refuse to watch WESH's news at that time. I'd rather go to Good Morning America or one of the other morning shows that are on in that time slot. Not because WESH's news is bad, it's just that I don't want to watch boring local news, I can watch that at other times.

I can't believe the "Buzz" is gone! At least from a time where I can watch it. It would be a shame to take these guys off the air! They started my day off with a laugh and gave me the news. Now I have to listen to all the depressing everyday news. I might as well go back to watching Angel. I get enough of the serious crap at night! Boo to who ever decided this. I turned all my coworkers on to this station, we were all watching and commenting when we got to work. VERY DISAPPOINTED in these so called managers of the station.
