Owner: ZGS Broadcasting

Slogan: "Central Florida's Action Station"

News: Telenoticias Orlando

Etc: This low-power station based in Kissimmee has been serving Central Florida's Spanish-speaking residents since the late 1990s-early 2000s as a Telemundo affiliate. While its signal is weak, it is carried on many of the region's cable TV systems -- expanding the station's reach and influence. In November 2004, it started its own news shop and began producing a 6 p.m. newscast.

Station History: WTMO was the second Spanish-language station in Central Florida, following WVEN-Univision 26 (which began as low-power WVEN-Channel 63). WTMO, based in Kissimmee, used to have a low-power sister station in Altamonte Springs, broadcasting on Channel 7. Because religious station WACX needed channel 40 for its digital broadcasts, WTMO switched its channel position from 40 to 15 in 2006. Since it is a low-power station, being on channel 15 doesn't interfere with the area's other Channel 15 (WCEU-Daytona Beach PBS).

Digital subchannel programming: None.
